Common questions

How does the free trial work?

Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial with full access to the planning toolkit. You can cancel anytime before the trial ends and you will not be charged. After the trial it is $9.99/month or $59.99/year (save 50%).

How do I cancel my subscription?

On iPhone, cancel through Apple: open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose MagicCost Planner, then Cancel. On the web, cancel from your account settings inside the app. After cancelling you keep access until the end of the current billing period.

I subscribed on my iPhone but the web app says I am not subscribed.

Your purchase can take a minute to sync across devices. Make sure you are signed into the same account on both, then pull to refresh or reopen the app. If it still has not synced after a few minutes, email us at support@magiccostplanner.com and we will fix it.

How do I restore a purchase?

On iPhone, open the app, go to More, then Subscription, and tap Restore Purchases. This re-checks your Apple account and re-applies any active subscription.

How do I delete my account and data?

In the app, go to Settings, then Privacy and data, then Delete account. This permanently removes your account and all your trip data: plans, budgets, dining reservations, and family members. It cannot be undone. If you have trouble, email support@magiccostplanner.com.

Can I plan a cruise, not just a theme park trip?

Yes. MagicCost Planner budgets cruise sailings too: fare, gratuities, specialty dining, shore excursions, and onboard spending. Onboard credit is applied automatically against the spending it can cover, so your real out-of-pocket number stays honest. You can also plan a combined land-and-sea trip.

Where do the prices and estimates come from?

Estimates are built from publicly available pricing and shown as conservative ranges, not promises. Theme park pricing changes often, so treat every number as a planning guide and confirm final costs at the time you book.

Is MagicCost Planner affiliated with Disney?

No. MagicCost Planner is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Walt Disney Company or any of its subsidiaries. All Disney-related trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

How do I stop trial reminder emails?

Every reminder email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Tap it once and you are opted out. Account and security emails are always sent.
